It's important for me to have time to focus on myself with having a toddler and a baby on the way. I'm a stay at home mom, but a lot of my focus is on other things. So it's nice to set some time aside for myself. But then secondly, feeling so good afterwards also is a huge plus. Feeling like, especially during my pregnancy, I feel like it's made me more comfortable with my pregnant body, more accepting of the changes, because I feel like I have a little bit more control over my changing body than I did the first time I was pregnant. And that's just a very personal thing for me. It's a very big, big deal.

So Pilates didn't only help my back, it helped with my posture. I found other aches and pains that I was having in other places in my body kind of got corrected through the use of Pilates. And honestly, I've never felt stronger. I may not be rippling with muscles, but I feel stronger in my body than I ever have because my core is so much stronger now.
